Left-back Jack MacKenzie left Aberdeen in May 2025, less than a week after the Dons beat Celtic on penalties to claim their first Scottish Cup in 35 years, and signed a three-year contract at Home Park.
MacKenzie was born in Aberdeen in 2000, and was in the club’s youth system by the age of nine. His first experience of senior action came in 2020/21 with a loan spell at Forfar in the third tier of Scottish football, where he played 14 times.
After getting his first taste of football for Aberdeen’s first-team late that same season, he featured 115 times for his hometown side, scoring three goals.
Jack has also been called up for the Scotland squad, but is yet to make his senior national team debut.
