So, you're making your first visit to Home Park? We're delighted that you're coming and we hope you have a great day at the Theatre of Greens.

We've put together some of the key information to make your first trip as easy and well planned as possible and to tell you all about match days at Home Park Stadium.

First Up. Where to sit?

There are four stands at Home Park for Argyle supporters to sit and view all of the action. The Babcock Devonport End, containing blocks 1-5, is behind the goal that Argyle will aim to kick to in the second half of games and is famous for our vocal Green Army, particularly in Block 3. Blocks 1 and 5 have a great atmosphere but are a little bit further away from the noisier section.

The Portcullis Legals Lyndhurst Road Stand runs the full length of the pitch from blocks 6 to 16 and has excellent views of the whole pitch. Block 16, famously known as Zoo Corner, like block 3 is famous for being one of the loudest areas in the stadium and contains more of our most vocal supporters.

For games where we are at capacity, The Kawasaki Barn Park End is shared with the away supporters. It is located behind the goal and always has a lively atmosphere.

The Beacon Electrical Mayflower Grandstand is our newest stand and houses our excellent corporate hospitality offering. You can choose from the upper tier, where seats can be a little tight for taller supporters, or in the lower tier, which again has excellent views of the pitch, is close to both dug outs and has ample leg room.

In bad weather, the lower rows of all the stands are of course susceptible to the rain.

If you purchase your ticket online you can see the view from each available seat before you purchase, here. If buying in person, one of our ticketing team has maps to show you exactly where each block is positioned on and around the pitch.

Purchasing tickets for Argyle games could not be simpler; visit our dedicated ticketing website for information, including the range of pricing and concessionary options.

The ticket office can also be contacted via The Home Park Ticket Office is open from 10am-4pm, Monday to Friday. On Saturdays when Argyle are at home, it is open from 9am-3pm. On non-match day Saturdays, it is open from 10am-2pm. The Ticket Office is closed on Sundays. 

For away supporters, tickets will generally be sold through your club, so please check their website for regular updates in the days leading up to your Home Park visit.

Please note that turnstiles open 90 minutes before kick-off.

Family zone and activities

Our dedicated Family Zone is located in the Beacon Electrical Mayflower Grandstand Lower.

During matchdays, the Argyle Community Trust hosts a special Family Activity Zone from 10.30am at every home game. All children are welcome to take part in a variety of sporting activities hosted outside the Babcock Devonport End at Home Park including:

3 vs 3 blow-up pitch
Swing ball
Golf putting green

Additional activities are added across the season depending on upcoming events.

Getting help on a Match Day

Our staff strive to deliver the best service to all supporters on a match day and will be happy to help with any enquiries or issues that may arise. You can always approach the nearest steward in and around the stadium but our shop, kiosk and ticketing staff can also provide assistance. 

Similarly, if you require First Aid, alert a steward or staff member who will get you the help you need. 

How to get to Home Park

By Car: If you are making a debut trip to Home Park, the stadium (PL2 3DQ) is well sign-posted from the A38. Approaching Plymouth from the East, exit the A38 at the Manadon roundabout, and take the second exit towards the city centre. Remain on Outland Road for around 1.5 miles (around 15 minutes on a busy match day). Then Home Park should appear into your view on the left-hand side, take the next available left and you will arrive at the stadium’s car park.

By Coach: If you arrive in Plymouth by public coach transport, your service will likely terminate at Plymouth coach station. From here, it is a 30-minute walk to Home Park, through Central Park. Upon departing the coach station on to Armada Way, turn left and walk up the hill, through the subway and past the train station. Home Park will be signposted along the route.

By Train: Plymouth railway station is located just a mile away from Home Park, and there is a paved walking route which takes you through Central Park straight to the stadium, taking around 20 minutes. Please note that a portion of the walk is up a steep hill.

By Taxi: If you are unable to walk, or prefer not to, there is a taxi rank located just outside the main entrance of the railway station. A cab to Home Park should take no longer than five minutes and cost no more than £5. If you would prefer to pre-book a taxi in advance, we recommend Need-a-cab (01752 666222) or Tower Cabs (01752 252525), who are both partners of Plymouth Argyle.

Food and Drink

We have a number of interactive catering kiosks situated throughout the Home Park stadium, offering a range of food and beverage options. Our recently installed kiosk technology will cut down on queuing and allow you back to the action as quickly as possible.

Match Day Programme

The award-winning match day programme, The Pilgrim, is available for just £3.50 and contains exclusive interviews, features, action pictures and stories from across the Argyle family. We have also continued with our dedicated children’s section for 2023/24, containing fun quizzes, trivia, competitions and more. 

Making the most of your match day

We want all supporters to have a great time when they come to Home Park (no matter what the final score is) so here are our top tips to make the most of your match day:

  • Show your colours! The Argyle Superstore is conveniently located within the grounds of Home Park Stadium, behind the old entrance facade, opposite the Plymouth Life Centre. Selling a wide range of Plymouth Argyle merchandise from replica shirts, to hats and scarves as well as perfect match day pick up items such as key rings, hand wavers and finger pointers. If you want to look the part before you arrive, visit our online store.
  • Grab one of our famous Proper Cornish Pasties or something else that takes your fancy. Our kiosks, located in every stand, serve a wide range of food and drink to suit any dietary requirements.
  • Take lots of photos to remember your visit! Share them with us on Social media and we'll RT you when we can. Don't forget to tag us @argyle and use the hashtags #pafc and #greenarmy. For supporters with younger children, look out for Pilgrim Pete and see if you can grab a selfie!
  • Team news arrives an hour before kick-off, you can follow this on our social media channels, or listen over the tannoy as our crowd announcer takes you through the teams. Check out who's who by purchasing our award winning match day programme, The Pilgrim. The players begin their warm up around 45 minutes before kick-off and always appreciate the Green Army welcome!
  • The final 15 minutes before kick-off are arguably the loudest and where you’ll get a true taste of the Home Park atmosphere. For the younger supporter, look out for our partners PAFC Displays who can give you a flag to wave at pitchside prior to the game. 
  • Sing your heart out! Our fans are truly the best around, so make sure you're voices are ready to cheer on your team. Greeeeennn Arrrrmmyyyy!!
