Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Concessions Supervisor to oversee the operation of all food and beverage outlets within our vibrant Biffa Fan Zone. You will lead a team to deliver outstanding service, maintain high standards of quality and hygiene, and help create a memorable experience for every fan on match days and event days.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day running of concessions within the Fan Zone, ensuring efficient operations before, during, and after events.

• Manage, train, and motivate concessions staff to provide excellent customer service and uphold company standards.

• Oversee payment handling procedures, including opening and closing tills, reconciling takings, and completing required paperwork.

• Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, and manage stock rotation and waste reduction.

• Ensure all concessions operate in compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

• Address and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across all concession units.

• Assist with scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels during busy periods.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience supervising in a hospitality, concessions, or event environment (ideally within stadiums or large venues).

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Confident in payment handling, basic reporting, and following operational procedures.

• Knowledge of food safety and health & safety standards.

• Flexible approach with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in line with the event schedule.

Typical shift patterns
Whilst this is a casual role, you will typically be offered shifts for the 23 home match days per season, with shifts of approximately 10 hours each, covering pre-match preparation through to post-match close down. Additional event days will also be available.

Hourly rate: £13.15

Desirable Qualifications

• Food Safety / Food Hygiene certificate (Level 2 or above).

• First Aid or Health & Safety training.
