Vacancy: Plymouth Argyle Women - Medical and Performance Lead
Duration: Permanent
Part-time: 20 hours per week
Salary: £15,000 per year
Plymouth Argyle Women Football Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced medical and performance lead to join the team. The successful applicant will be providing support to PAWFC within the areas of medical support, rehabilitation, and physical conditioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend all first-team training sessions and match-days, providing medical preparation, provision of on-field first aid and treatment, and the medical recovery of the players.
- Provide therapy and rehabilitation clinics for first-team players when requested.
- Conduct first-team fitness testing and physical profiling of players throughout the season.
- Implement periodised first-team training plans that align with fixture schedules and training loads.
- Develop injury prevention protocols and return-to-play programmes.
- Ensure biomechanical and medical assessments are conducted on trialists prior to registration, with medical concerns highlighted.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the rules and regulations of the FA, EFL and Premier League for Youth Development.
- An understanding of, and a commitment to, equal opportunities issues both in the workplace and wider community.

Qualifications
- Minimum of BSc in Sports Therapy or BSc in Physiotherapy – (E)
- Qualified or working towards Emergency Medical First Aid in Football (EMFAiF) – (E)
- Hold Level 3 in Personal Training or having completed the UKSCA S&C Trainer Course
- Valid FA CRB Enhanced Check (Immediately)
- FA Safeguarding Workshop – (E)
