Joe Hatch

Joe Hatch offered first professional contract

Following the conclusion of the Academy's season, Under-18s forward Joe Hatch has been offered his first professional contract by Argyle.

Joe is an attacking threat and has played across the front three this season, and scored with considerable regularity before picking up an injury that ended his season prematurely.

From North Devon, the Wales youth international also made his first-team debut against Burnley earlier in the 2024/25 season. Congratulations, Joe.

Defender Harry Shield has been offered an additional year’s scholarship, having missed a large percentage of his time at Argyle due to injury.

Cole Fisher, Dan Holman, Jensen Ireland, Harley Sneap and Joel Sullivan have not been offered a professional contract. We wish all of them the best with their future careers.

Academy Manager Phil Stokes said: "We are delighted to offer Joe his first professional contract. He has shown great quality and determination throughout his time with us and, although injury cut his season short, we believe he has a bright future ahead.

"We are also really pleased to extend Harry's scholarship. We look forward to continuing to support his development next season.

"At the same time, we would like to recognise all of the players who are moving on. They have been a credit to themselves, their families, and Argyle.

"Although their time with us has come to an end, they will always remain part of the Argyle family, and we will continue to support them wherever their football journeys take them."
