Hermione Cull signs for Argyle Women
Argyle have secured the signing of Hermione Cull.
The goalkeeper joins the Greens from newly-promoted Women’s Super League side London City Lionesses. For the conclusion of last season, Cull was on loan at Argyle’s fellow FAWNL Southern Premier Division side Watford, where she made nine appearances and kept six clean sheets for the Hornets.
Before joining London City, the 21-year-old was part of the Arsenal academy, whilst also making appearances throughout the England youth set-up.
Argyle Head Coach Marie Hourihan said: “Hermione is an exciting young goalkeeper, who excelled at Watford on loan during the back end of last season. I’m looking forward to working with her and help develop her game at Argyle this year and further.”
Christian Kent, Executive Lead for Women’s Football at Argyle said: “We are delighted that a player of Hermione’s experience and quality has joined us for the next step of her career. This signing signals another positive step forward and underpins the new strategy we have implemented.”
The signing is subject to league and FA approval.
