Argyle to face QPR in Carabao Cup first round

Argyle will face Sky Bet Championship side Queens Park Rangers at home in the first round of the 2025/26 Carabao Cup.

The tie is scheduled to take place at Home Park on the week commencing 11 August, following our trip to Bolton Wanderers the weekend before.

Argyle hosted QPR at the same stage of this competition in 2020, winning 3-2 with goals from Joe Edwards, Danny Mayor and Frank Nouble.

In last season's competition, Argyle beat Cheltenham Town 3-0 in the first round, before losing 2-0 to Watford in the second.
