Argyle to face Eintracht Braunschweig in Austria
Argyle will play German side Eintracht Braunschweig during this summer’s pre-season trip to Austria.
The game will take place at 5pm local time on Friday, 11 July, at Koasastadion, in the town of St. Johann in Tirol, some 80km east of Argyle’s training base, just outside Innsbruck.
Supporters will be allowed to attend the fixture. Tickets are pay-on-the-gate and will cost €10, while Under-14s go free. Tickets will be available from the stadium, from 90 minutes before kick-off.
Eintracht Braunschweig play in 2. Bundesliga, the second tier of German football. They finished 16th last season, which meant they played in the relegation play-off, but were victorious over Saarbrucken over two legs.
In addition, supporters will be allowed to attend Thursday’s training session at the Sportplatz training facility in the town of Volders, near Wattens. Specific details, including timings, will be communicated in the coming weeks.
We would like to say a big thank you to Fineline Group for sponsoring the tour. A leading provider of carpentry, partitions and fire doors in the South West of England, Plymouth-based Fineline have been partners with Argyle for several years, including as shirt-sleeve sponsors for the Carabao Cup.
