2024/25 Award Winners Announced

Argyle’s CT1 Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season, Women’s Player of the Season and Women’s Young Player of the Season for 2024/25 have been announced.

Ryan Hardie has been named as the Greens’ Player of the Season.

Coming into the final game of the season, Ryan, 28, has scored 12 goals in all competitions through 39 appearances, 10 of which have come in Sky Bet Championship play.

The Argyle Young Player of the Season is Darko Gyabi. The on-loan midfielder from Leeds United has impressed with his maturity and hard work, making 43 Championship appearances. The 21-year-old also achieved a huge milestone this season, scoring the first senior goal of his career against Middlesbrough in December.

Charlotte Whitmore has been named as the Women’s Player of the Season.

The 23-year-old was key in securing Argyle’s place in the FAWNL Southern Premier Division for next season, scoring 14 goals in all competitions. Whitmore’s brace – including a last-minute goal – against AFC Wimbledon at Plough Lane secured a crucial three points away from home for Argyle in an important time of the year.

Finally, Ella Stephens is the Women’s Young Player of the Season. Having played for Torquay United in the 2023/24 season, the 17-year-old was a key feature in the starting XI for Argyle on a regular basis and scored two goals in 29 appearances, in all competitions.
